Terms of Service
Effective date: April 23, 2026. These Terms govern your access to and use of Track My Shelf.
Using the service
Track My Shelf is a platform for cataloging RPG and tabletop collection information, managing owned copies, publishing collections, submitting catalog candidates, and participating in community features such as reviews and feedback.
By using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for the activity that occurs through your account.
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You are responsible for managing your privacy, cookie, and email preference settings for your account.
- We may suspend, limit, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the service or its users.
Your content
- You keep ownership of content you submit, including collection notes, reviews, feedback, images, and owned-copy details.
- You grant Track My Shelf a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, format, and display that content as needed to operate the service.
- You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
Prohibited conduct
- No unlawful, infringing, defamatory, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
- No scraping, interference, automated abuse, credential attacks, or attempts to bypass access controls.
- No uploading malware, harmful scripts, or content intended to disrupt the platform.
- No impersonation, deceptive affiliate use, or misuse of reviews, reports, feedback, or moderation systems.
Catalog and community moderation
Track My Shelf may review, moderate, edit, reject, or remove user submissions, reviews, reports, feedback, images, and other content to keep the service accurate, lawful, and usable. We may also correct metadata, merge records, or retire items where appropriate.
Subscriptions and billing
- Some features require a paid subscription or are limited by subscription tier.
- Billing and payment processing are handled by Stripe.
- Plan changes, cancellations, renewals, discounts, and free-tier limits are governed by the active plan details shown in the app.
- If a subscription ends or downgrades, Track My Shelf may restrict premium capabilities while preserving existing data and visibility settings as described by the product.
Ads, analytics, and affiliate relationships
Track My Shelf may display advertisements, house promotions, sponsored placements, and affiliate links. We may work with Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Amazon, Noble Knight, and other ecommerce partners or ad providers. Any affiliate commissions or advertising relationships do not change the need for you to evaluate products, merchants, and offers for yourself.
Optional analytics, personalization, advertising, and affiliate technologies are subject to the privacy and consent choices you make in the service.
Email and notification preferences
Track My Shelf may offer optional communications such as product and platform updates, publisher announcements, price drop alerts, wishlist availability alerts, crowdfunding alerts, collection insights, and weekly digest messages.
You may opt in or out of those optional communications from your account settings. Transactional and service-critical emails, such as account verification, password resets, billing notices, moderation notices, and security messages, may still be sent when necessary.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue part of the service at any time, including features, plans, partner integrations, and supported workflows. We may also update these Terms as the product evolves.
Disclaimers
Track My Shelf is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, catalog accuracy, merchant availability, pricing accuracy, or preservation of any specific feature forever.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Track My Shelf and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising out of your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if necessary to protect the platform, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or respond to misuse.
